Critters of Spring

Took a walk today and found several signs of springtime.

Northern watersnake down by the pond. Not venomous, but will bite if aggitated.

Turned out to be two bedded together

A brown skink.

Walking through the woods we spotted this little raccoon clinging to the tree about ten feet off the ground.

Near the base of the tree, another youngster was trying to get through the briers and up the tree. Apparently we had startled the mother who had run off to hide. It is certain she wasn't far away
